1) Brower Youth Awards

The annual Brower Youth Awards honor six young people for their outstanding activism and achievements in the fields of environmental and social justice advocacy. Each winner is awarded $3000 and taken to San Francisco for the award week and a backcountry camping trip.

2) EPA Award

Since 1971, the EPA has sponsored the President's Environmental Youth Awards (PEYA). The program recognizes young people across America for projects which demonstrate their commitment to the environment. Young people in all 50 states and the U.S. territories are invited to participate in the program.

3) Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes

The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes honors outstanding young leaders who have made a significant positive difference to people and the planet.

4) National Wildlife Federation's Women for Sustainable Development

Each year, NWF sponsors a three-day leadership institute for college women interested in a career in International Sustainable Development. Participation in Women for Sustainable Development is open to women from all backgrounds and disciplines enrolled at undergraduate institutions in the United States and Mexico.
