Submissions submitted by mail should be on a CD and must be of a file type as listed in the Technical Requirements.
What happens after I submit my entry?
After the closing date, a panel of judges selected by the California Air Resources Board and the British Council will consider all entries that fit the guidelines. Applicants who submit the entries that show the most enthusiasm, creativity, feasibility and ability to communicate about climate change will be invited for an interview. Interviews will determine which applicants will become California Climate Champions and will also identify the champion(s) who will participate in the international project planning workshop in the United Kingdom in February. See What Happens Next.
The California Climate Champions program, sponsored by the California Air Resources Board and the British Council, is one of a number of similar initiatives established in many countries around the world. Learn more about the International Climate Champions Program.
